Apostle Vincent L. Greaves Sr.
Apostle Vincent L. Greaves, Sr. whose proud parents are the late Deacon Victor and Mother Rose Greaves was raised in Brooklyn, NY. He faithfully attended the Redemption Church of Christ Bible Way, under the pastor ship of the late Bishop Arthur Lee Pearson. Through the grace of God, he was baptized in Jesus’ Name at the age of 15 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in a heavenly language at 20 years of age.
In August 1988, the Lord called him into the ministry under the leadership of the late Bishop Delric Pollins. And in July 1990, the late Bishop Carey Robinson licensed him in the Bible Way World Wide, Inc. organization.
In 1992, Minister Greaves founded the United Power & Praise Crusade, Inc., Many souls were filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost and many were baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins.
June, 1994, Minister Vincent L. Greaves was ordained to the office of Elder during the 37th Holy Convocation of the Bible Way Churches World-Wide, Apostle Huie L. Rogers, was the Presiding Bishop.
July 2, 1995, Elder Greaves became the proud Pastor of the Good Samaritan Prayer Room Church, Inc. He continued to work with the Bible Way Churches World-Wide as the New York State Youth President.
July 2005, under the leadership of Apostle Lawrence G. Campbell, Chief Apostle & Presiding Bishop of Bible Way World Wide and by the approval of the Joint Board of Bishops, Bishop Greaves, Sr. was appointed as a District Bishop in the Empire State Diocese of New York, under the late Bishop Carey Robinson (Diocesan Bishop).
July 2006, at the Bible Way 49th Holy Convocation, Bishop Greaves, Sr. was made the Episcopal Diocesan of the United New York Diocese (now known as Northeast Regional Diocese).
July 2010, Bishop Greaves, Sr. was elected Assistant General Secretary of the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ.
July 3, 2014, Bishop Greaves Sr. was elected by the Joint Board of Bishops to the Executive Board of Bishops and was appointed by Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop Nelson to the office of General Secretary of the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ, Inc.
May 13, 2016, Bishop Greaves Sr. was made interim Pastor of the Christ Community Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., in Peekskill, New York. Bishop Greaves was installed as Senior Pastor on Saturday, November 19, 2016.
July 3, 2019, Bishop Greaves Sr. was elected by the Joint Board of Bishops to the Office of Apostle and 2nd Vice Presiding Bishop of the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ.
July 5, 2019, during the 62nd Annual Holy Convocation of International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ, was dually consecrated and installed as Apostle and 2nd Vice Presiding Bishop of International Bible Way.
March 16, 2022, Apostle Greaves Sr. was elected by the joint board of Bishops 1st Vice Presiding Bishop of International Bible Way to be installed Friday July 8, 2022.
July 7, 2022, durud the 65th Holy Convocation of International Bible Way as duallly installed as the 1st Vice Presiding Bishop of International Bible Way.
Apostle Greaves holds an Associate Degree in Graphics Design and Animation from Athem College, Bachelor Degree in Web Design and Multimedia from Westwood College, Bachelor’s Degree in of Biblical Studies from Anointed by God Ministries Alliance and Theological Seminary and a Honorary Doctorate of Divinity , Masters 1 in Theology and Masters 2 in Divinity from Acts of Grace Bible College and Theological Seminary.
Apostle Greaves is married to Pastor (Lady) Patricia H. Greaves for over 20 years.The Lord has blessed Apostle and Lady Greaves with wonderfully anointed children, Darlene (Greaves) Joseph, Samantha Hall, Stephen Hall, Samanda Morrow, Danaisa Greaves, Malisia Greaves, and Vincent L. Greaves Jr. It is today that Apostle and Lady Greaves stand together in ministry on the Word of God.
