MISSIONARY DEPARTMENTMissionary Petal Robinson , President
The Missionary Departments' main purpose is to aid the church and to perpetuate the doings of the saints in the beginning of the church. That is, to make opportunity for missionary women to be helpers together with our Ministers and Pastors in the brining in of the souls to Christ. Another purpose is to comfort those in need by visiting widows, orphans and the sick, and giving Godly council in the fear of God. Missionaries should also teach the younger women to be chaste keepers at the home and so walk shunning the very appearance of the evil that the Gospel be not blasphemed.
The Missionary Department is made up of four orders of Missionaries.
1. Junior Missionary - One who is in training at the first level. At this level one must learn Faithfulness, Meekness, Obedience, Prayerfulness and a desire to truly want to know God and to study God's Word.
2. Social Missionary - One who is practicing Faithfulness, Meekness, Obedience, Prayerfulness and has a desire to truly study and know God's Word. A Social Missionary is at the level of acquiring a burden for souls, and a desire to minister to a specific ministry. For example, at this level, one begins to realize their ministry to young people, singles, divorcees, prison, senior citizens, altar work or hospital visitations, etc.
3. Senior Missionary - One who has balance in their life and a deep affection for the things of God. The Senior Missionary is at a level of Christian maturity and leads a life of example. They are able to keep confidential matters confidential.
4. Field Missionary - A Field Missionary is different from the other Missionary Orders because this is a special called missionary whose life is in the field. The field may be anything from going from church to church carrying the word, establishing a church, or going into the foreign field. Wherever there is a need the Field Missionary is there. The nature of this work requires them to be away from their home church quite often. So when they are home they should make a report as to what God is doing through them in the field.
Any Missionary desiring a license as a worker in the Christ Community Apostolic Church may obtain them by complying with the following requirements:
Must have on the Baptism (Acts 2:4,2:38) believing and teaching the same.
Must have some fruit of the Spirit in their own life and showing the workings of God's Spirit in this particular work.
Missionaries must be obedient to their church orders.
Must be faithful in every obligation to the church and the Word of God, paying tithes and offerings and teaching the same.
All Missionary activities such as sick visitation, hospital evangelism, home prayer meetings and Bible studies must be reported to the Missionary President and to the Pastor. Remember; wherever you go you represent the Lord Jesus Christ, the Christ Community Apostolic Church and your Pastor. Your ministries are the legs of the church. The purpose of a Missionary is not to claim ownership or motivate selfish principles, but to service and promote the spiritual aspects of God.
The Missionary Vow
We the women of the Christ Community Apostolic Church, knowing that God has called us unto holiness, sobriety and charity, to rescue the fallen and administer any and all help, as we have opportunity, whether spiritual or material to the glory of God and to the honor and majesty of his great name.
We now take our place in the ranks of the workers of our Lord to do our part in harvesting souls for Jesus Christ as our Lord is coming soon to gather the precious fruits of the early and latter reign.
We desire to do a more effectual work for Christ. Amen
